Boys and girls with food allergies, this year for Halloween, ask your parents to use these fun snack tags to label your special allergy friendly treat bags. Trick or treat candy is not safe to eat without permission for children with food allergies, and sometimes that is really hard for you to understand.
These food allergy snack tags are a great way to keep your allergy safe treats separated from all the others. If this is your first Halloween with food allergies, then these snack tags are a must! Just print out this free PDF file on heavy card stock paper. You can either cut the tags yourself or ask a parent to help you. You will need a hole puncher to make a hole in the top of the tag. Then get a twist tie to tie the tag to your treat bag. With your name on the bag everyone will know it is yours and no one will accidentally eat your allergy safe candy.
So when does a spooky snack bag come in handy? Just last week Cilie went to a Halloween party and lucky for him, his mum had a bag on hand. This made him feel just like everybody else. When the hosts passed out candy to everyone he didn't feel left out at all. Cilie's mum is also bringing an allergy safe snack bag to school for his class party. And tomorrow night they are going to a costume parade at the village hall. She told Cilie that she'd bring one there too.
If you'd like to have a snack tag on your special allergy-free snack bags this Halloween, you are more than welcome to use Cilie's ones. Just click on the image and download the PDF. There are eight spooky tags on it!
Psst! Are you wondering who Cilie is? He's our club's mascot!
