Use Our Free Online Cooking Class Materials to Teach Science

Cilie's Teacher from the book Cilie Yack is Under Attack

Teachers: Use Our Free List of Cooking Class Materials for Kids

Teachers looking for unique kitchen experiments that teach science concepts in a fun way, will love our club curriculum. View our free online cooking class science curriculum for kids. Want to teach your kids about science subjects on a budget? Our cooking class materials do just that. And when you are finished with the experiment, your students will be able to eat their results in most cases. Our curriculum is based on food allergy safety principles. Rather than excluding your food allergic student(s), this curriculum will give you the resources you need to work with every child in your class. Kids will love our simple snack recipes, projects, and crafts that parents and teachers alike have used separately or in conjunction with the experiments. All our recipes are designed for food allergy kids. Our cooking club teaches kids about food allergy safety in a fun way.Download for Free!cilieallergysafetybook If you are a classroom teacher or parent looking for a specific food allergy education booklet for kids, check out our Food Allergy Safety Book (pictured at left). Facilitators can use their discretion on whether or not they will be able to use all or some of the materials provided. Just check it out and above all else, have fun with it. We have activities designed for two age groups: 5-7 and 8-11 year-olds. So our kitchen science curriculum is ideal for homeschool families that have one or more siblings with food allergies. So use it how you see fit, free of charge. And if you like what you see, please consider supporting our club. We are a 501 (c)3 non profit organization.

The kitchen science activity sheets are available to help families or cooking clubs manage 'down time' with larger groups of kids.  Our club is not meant to feel like a formal classroom. An ideal session is a little rowdy and a lot of fun. All activity sheets are meant to be worked on in groups. We like to see kids sharing answers and discussing what they've learned.

Lesson 1 (No Recipe, as the kids will be learning about Kitchen Cleanliness)

If you are using our Facilitator Guidebook to start your own local cooking club, this meeting will be spent filling out the forms provided in that book. Volunteers will give parents participation forms for each child. During this process, the Sous Club kids will be learning about the importance of a clean kitchen.
